SoakStain Painting Technique of Helen Frankenthaler influenced by Jackson Pollock & Abstract Masters

I have always loved how paint soaks into the canvas. Upon research, I learned several of the Masters like Helen Frankenthaler, influenced by Jackson Pollock and used a method called Soak Staining to create this same style. In this video, hopefully the first of others to come, I share what I learned from experiencing with PRIMED canvas and how to get the soak stained effect to work. While I wait for my unprimed raw canvas to come, I will try Golden's Wetting Aid on the PRIMED canvas to see if this helps the soaking more!!! I do need to give credit to Beverly Todd's (Santa Fe Artist Get Away) channel for the tip on Cascade Rinse Aid. her video is here:    / @btoddarts   If you try this technique, feel free to share on the Intentional Artist TM FaceBook Group:   / intentionalartistgroup   PLEASE subscribe and give me a thumbs up to encourage me as I grow my channel.
