Lord, Lead Me on the Path That Leads to Life | Morning Prayer

Every day, we stand at a crossroads. Jesus said there are only two roads one broad and crowded that leads to destruction, and one narrow and quiet that leads to life. This morning prayer walks through the story of Jonah, a man who chose his own way over God's way, and reminds us that even when we drift, God's mercy is calling us back. Today is another chance to choose obedience, to choose surrender, and to choose the road that leads to life in Christ. Matthew 7:13-14 "Enter through the narrow gate. For wide is the gate and broad is the road that leads to destruction, and many enter through it. But small is the gate and narrow the road that leads to life, and only a few find it." Isaiah 53:6 "All we like sheep have gone astray. We have turned everyone to his own way." Romans 14:7 "For none of us lives to himself, and none of us dies to himself." Matthew 16:24 "If anyone would come after me, let him deny himself and take up his cross and follow me." John 14:6 "I am the way, and the truth, and the life.
