My Disability Rejection Taught Me This One Critical Thing

After 26 years with fibromyalgia, I've completed the disability benefits application twice — refused the first time, successful the second. In this video I share what I wish I'd known: why the hardest part isn't the form, how to get free help, and how to fill it in so you're far more likely to succeed. I'm in the UK (this benefit is called PIP, once known as DLA), but the principles apply wherever you are — in the US it's SSDI/SSI, in Australia the Disability Support Pension, in Canada its own equivalent. These systems all assess how your condition affects what you can do, not your diagnosis.
