Understanding the Sony HX9v, Part 2. The P (program auto) mode explained
This is the second in this series concentrating on the shooting modes of the Sony hX9v compact digital camera. In the first video I looked at the intellegent auto and superior auto modes and discussed some of the issues these 2 modes create. By using the P mod we free ourselves of the scene modes which the camera tries to categorise the image into. It also gives us the opportunity to choose colour modes and adjust individually saturation, contrast and sharpness to achieve our desired image. By keeping the camera ISo to below ISO800 the camera can give some great images - especially so at ISO 100. Illustrated with example images to demonstrate the effects. Will also apply to the sony HX20v and HX10v
