How to change, replace or remove the Ford car battery in your Ford Focus II (DA3/DB3), Ford C-MAX, Ford Mondeo IV (BA7) etc. This video shows the removal and installation of a starter battery as well as the training of the window regulators using a Focus II Facelift (08-10) with 1.8l Duratec-HE (FlexiFuel) engine. The battery used here has a power of 61Ah / 600A at 12V and measures 242 mm x 175 mm x 175 mm (L x W x H). Depending on the model and equipment, the construction of the battery box may differ, but usually the logic remains the same. After reconnecting the battery, the engine control is in learning mode for approx. 8 km. But you can drive as usual. The window regulators have to be reprogrammed. Simply drive up and down several times or alternatively, as with some cars, drive up and down a single time and keep the buttons pressed longer. The radio code must be re-entered. Keep it handy!
