Ujjai Pranayam - Detailed Explanation by Swami Ramdev
In this video, Param Pujya Swami Ramdev Ji Maharaj has explained about Ujjayi Pranayama. Out of the eight Pranayamas, Ujjayi Pranayama is the most important. In Ujjayi Pranayama, take a long deep breath and hold it. If you hold it, Jalandhar Band is applied. You can also apply Bolband. Put the chin on the throat and hold the Jalandhar Band and breath. You can keep the hands in Dhyana Mudra or Vayu Mudra. After holding as much as you can, close the right nostril and exhale from the left nostril. In this way, you can do it for 21 times. Ujjayi Pranayama is very beneficial for throat exercises, for thyroid-parathyroid, throat infection, snoring, stammering and tonsils. For those who have frequent throat infections and sore throat, Ujjayi is a panacea for them and you can do Ujjayi Pranayama anytime. Do Kapalabhati and Bahya Pranayama only after 4-5 hours of eating. Those who cannot sleep should do Anulom Do Vilom Bhramari Pranayama while sleeping. There is no need to be cautious in Ujjayi Pranayama. It can be done by everyone from children to adults. Encourage small children to do Ujjayi Pranayama. Its special benefit is for those who have Parkinson's paralysis of the throat, Swarbhhang or someone who has lost their voice.
