Starting with a simple DC fan, we reverse the process to show how rotation and magnetism create alternating current. By manually spinning a fan, we generate a voltage that oscillates, demonstrating the core principle of AC power generation. Along the way, we see Faradays Law in action and explain why sinusoidal waveforms are fundamental to electrical engineering. We also touch on the important idea of energy transformation, reminding us that there is no free lunch in physics.
