The season’s setup has Matt hunted by Fisk’s anti-vigilante crackdown while trying to build resistance from the ground up, and Episodes 2 and 3 feel like that pressure is finally boiling over. What makes this stretch of the season so strong is how much it leans into everything that makes Daredevil work: the paranoia, the city-wide corruption, the tension between justice and revenge, and that constant feeling that Matt is fighting a battle he might not be able to win alone. With Karen Page back in New York, Heather Glenn tied closer to Fisk’s administration, Angela del Toro stepping into the story, and Jack Duquesne / Swordsman still caught in the middle of Fisk’s growing power, these episodes feel like they’re expanding the board in a big way. There’s also a lot of weight here because of everything hanging over Matt personally. Between Foggy Nelson’s death, the secret of Red Hook, Fisk’s illegal imprisonment of perceived threats, and the larger anti-vigilante movement, Born Again Season 2 keeps making this feel bigger than just another superhero feud.
