Tibet is currently off-limits to foreigners due to a ban imposed by the Chinese government. It can only be accessed through guided tours. The place I visited was "Serda" in Sichuan Province, China. Foreigners had been off-limits to the area since 2016, but this year, the ban was lifted. Tibet was definitely different: the language, culture, and people were all different.
