HEALTH FOCUS: Understanding aflatoxin poisoning and how to avoid it
In March three people died and more than 150 others were hospitalized after eating food distributed to refugees in Karamoja. An investigation by the ministry of health revealed that the food which was mostly fortified cereals like porridge was contaminated by aflatoxins.
