The Persona is what I show, what represents and identifies me, what was imposed upon me and what I assumed. The Shadow is where instinctive, wild, and rejected aspects are hidden. Socially unacceptable behaviors are repressed and remain in the Unconscious, such as childhood sexuality, violent outbursts, and everything we were told was wrong... Projection is a defense mechanism, an impulse, desire, or emotion that is within us, points outward, and when projected, we see it outside, with a boomerang effect. In group settings, we call projections Tele. As coordinators, we need to work with the group on everything that arises from these projections in the dynamics of roles, basic assumptions, leadership, betrayals, blank spaces, attacks and escapes, and the dependency that gives rise to the projection of one's own repressed tendencies.
