Join me for a walk around the fetching streets of Port Sunlight, an unusual planned village on the Wirral, laid out by William Lever of the Lever Brothers, who constructed an idyllic home for workers at his soap factory. Over the years, Port Sunlight accumulated ever more ornate landmarks, making for an enthralling and eye-catching place to explore. On our walk around Port Sunlight, we pass a number of interesting landmarks, including Christ Church, Port Sunlight War Memorial, Lady Lever Art Gallery, the Leverhulme Memorial, Port Sunlight Museum, Church Drive Primary School, The Bridge Inn, Hulme Hall, The Lyceum, The Dell, Bridge Cottage, Gladstone Theatre, and Unilever Port Sunlight (former soap factory).
