With his extensive range of mirrors, pencils, pastes, powders, wigs, masks, and dozens of other materials, he was one of the most accomplished masters of his time. As a makeup artist, he worked on 14 films, including Kara Murat: The Master of the Seas, Genghis Khan's Fedai, Keloglan and Cankiz, Four Women in the Harem, and Yumurcak Faka Basmaz. He transformed Türkan Şoray into a man, aged Sadri Alışık by 30 years, and disguised Muammer Karaca as a singer. His successful make-up artist status was described in Ses magazine's 14th issue, dated 1971: "In "7 Husbands of Hürmüz," which broke a record by being performed over a thousand times at the Ayfer Feray Theater, Türkan Şoray plays a flirtatious, flighty old-time belle.
