Now here is a tiny home to take your breath away. Set amongst the park like gardens of a small family compound, Lee’s single level tiny house is a beautiful reflection of her life and her journey. After going through a divorce, she made the decision to create a home that felt completely her own, a place designed around comfort, personal expression and a deep connection to the outdoors. Every corner of this compact home has been shaped to her tastes. Rich forest tones create a cosy atmosphere and the walls are filled with memories from family, friends and years of travel. It is a space that feels deeply lived in and full of heart. Despite its small footprint, the layout has been designed to feel open and welcoming, with clever touches that make the home practical as well as beautiful. Beside the main house sits a sleepout for her now grown children, who visit often. The wider property is a shared labour of love between Lee and her parents. Their gardens are stunning and create a peaceful outlook from every window. Living small has encouraged Lee to treat the outdoors as an extension of her home, a theme we see so often among tiny house dwellers. This is a gorgeous example of a home that fits just right.
