Clever Ghost Music - No Turning Back Now

I'm beginning to prefer these types of dramatic and dynamic soundtracks, which I find much easier to pair with my videos. Although I originally had something epic and light planned for the grand mountains of Lijiang, my emotional state bled through and the tone ended up being darker. That's why I love making music, you can channel all of your energy into the art. Because there was a scene similar to Howl's Moving Castle, I wanted to evoke Japanese characteristics. So I chose A minor, which I've noticed a lot of Japanese composers use, likely for its light sound. The horns, however, are all me (can’t resist). I just really find the lonely moodiness to capture the sound I want. It was also really fun to use more textural range with the pizzicato section to convey the trepidation and marching. I like to keep continuity throughout my discography and so this one shares some elements with one of my other popular soundtracks "Sudden Stillness". Soundtrack library available for download!
