4 days in Bohol, countless memories for Dela Cruz Family Adventures. 🌴❤️ 🌴 Sometimes the best trips are the ones that give you a little bit of everything. Our latest Dela Cruz Family Adventures took us to the most beautiful Bohol tourist spots for 4 days and 4 nights filled with beaches, wildlife, history, food, and plenty of family memories. After arriving in Panglao on our evening flight from Manila, we checked in at Alona Vida Beach Resort and couldn’t wait to start exploring the next morning. Our first full day was spent enjoying Alona Beach in Barangay Tawala, Panglao. Known for its powdery white sand and crystal-clear waters, it’s one of Bohol’s most visited beach destinations for good reason. We relaxed by the pool, experienced the thrill of parasailing above the coastline, and ended the day strolling along the lively beachfront as the sun went down. The next day was all about discovering what makes Bohol unique. We rode ATVs beside the world-famous Chocolate Hills in Carmen, one of the country’s most iconic natural wonders. We also visited the Bohol Tarsier Conservation Area in Bilar, where these tiny primates can be observed while efforts are made to promote their protection and conservation. Our countryside tour also brought us through the cool and peaceful Bilar Man-Made Forest, a stretch of towering mahogany trees planted decades ago as part of a reforestation effort. Before heading back, we visited Baclayon Church in the municipality of Baclayon, one of the oldest stone churches in the Philippines and a remarkable reminder of the country’s rich history. One of our most memorable days started before sunrise. We headed out for island hopping and were greeted by playful dolphins in the open sea. We snorkeled around Balicasag Island, spotted a sea turtle gliding beneath the water, and enjoyed the stunning sandbar of Virgin Island, surrounded by some of the clearest waters we’ve ever seen. On our final day, we squeezed in a few more experiences before heading home. We enjoyed lunch, sightseeing, fishing, and animal feeding at South Farm Panglao, explored the beautiful Hinagdanan Cave in Barangay Bingag, Dauis, and spent our remaining hours at Moadto Strip, where we finally got to try the famous ice cream from Bohol Bee Farm. Looking back, Bohol gave us so much more than beautiful views. It gave us early morning adventures, laughter-filled van rides, shared meals, unexpected discoveries, and moments that reminded us why we love traveling together as a family.
