Coulometric Coating Thickness Gauge - ElektroPhysik GalvanoTest 2000

Product Introduction: The GalvanoTest is a device to measure coating thickness based on the Coulometric principle and it can be used virtually for all electroplated single or multi-layered coatings like chromium, nickel, cadmium, copper, brass, silver, gold, tin, zinc and other known metals or non-metals. The GalvanoTest 2000 model allows electrolytes to move by a pulsator nozzle. Features: • An electrolyte beaker (accessory) to measure wires. • A wide range of special accessories for measurements on small components and wires. Abiding to the Faraday's Coulometric method, the anodic dissolution works on the lines of the electroplating process which allows electric current to pass through an electrolyte to separate between the individual metal coating(s) from the substrate. Thus allowing users to measure the current used to determine the thickness of the coating. Measuring range: 50 nm - 75 µm / 0.002 - 3 mils.
