Let All Things Now Living | Songs and Everlasting Joy

We like to ask God for things, and even to thank Him for things. But to praise, it's something that doesn't seem to come as naturally! But "we too should be voicing our love and rejoicing, with glad adoration, a song let us raise!" This hymn is a beautiful self-fulfilling song, calling for praise, while at the same time, being a song of praise in itself! Thank you so much to a dear friend for requesting this lovely hymn. It is so uplifting and full of praise to God. A wonderful way to start any day with Him! "Oh that men would praise the LORD for his goodness, and for his wonderful works to the children of men!" Psalm 107:8, 15, 21, 31. "Praise ye the LORD. I will praise the LORD with my whole heart, in the assembly of the upright, and in the congregation." Psalm 111:1. "O praise the LORD, all ye nations: praise him, all ye people." Psalm 117:1. "Praise the LORD; for the LORD is good: sing praises unto his name; for it is pleasant." Psalm 135:3. "Praise ye the LORD. Praise the LORD, O my soul." PSalm 146:1. "Let every thing that hath breath praise the LORD. Praise ye the LORD." Psalm 150:6. And this is not all of them, by any means! The Bible tells us to praise the Lord! And as believers of His, we have so much to praise Him for. May we have a habit of praise each day. Praise the Lord! Verse 2 His law He enforces: the stars in their courses, The sun in His orbit, obediently shine; The hills and the mountains, the rivers and fountains, The deeps of the ocean proclaim Him divine, We too should be voicing our love and rejoicing, With glad adoration a song let us raise, ‘Til all things now living unite in thanksgiving To God in the highest, hosanna and praise!
