Acht kinderen in één huis: we gaan opnieuw langs

#help #family #ukraine We visited the family again who fled from one of the hardest-hit frontline areas in Ukraine. They had to leave everything behind and arrived with no money and almost no belongings at a place where they had to start all over again. During our previous visit, we had already given them some money, supplies and a generator. But still, we felt that we wanted to do more. So we went back to see how they are doing now and what they still need. Since our last visit, they have not been sitting still. Wallpaper has already been put up in one of the rooms, furniture has been moved around and a new bed has been placed. Step by step, they are trying to turn the house back into a safe and livable place. But it quickly becomes clear that there is still an incredible amount of work to be done. There are still mattresses missing, the roof needs further repairs and, because of heavy rain, part of the house was flooded. The floors, ceilings and walls also still need a lot of attention. For a family that has to start over with almost nothing, this is a huge challenge. Together with Alexander, Franky and Coen look at what really has the highest priority right now. What needs to be tackled first? What is most important for the children? And how can this family be helped in the best possible way?
