A gold panning and prospecting trip to the Leadhills in Scotland. Sniping , sluicing and panning for gold . Steeped in history , Leadhills was famous for it's lead mines and is a popular place for gold panners to seek their fortune in the streams which flow off the rolling hills of the surrounding estate. There is good gold to be found here but you will have to be prepared to a fair bit of digging to find it and preferably live close by to keep working your chosen section.
