Differences from "Poshekhonka" stoves: The "Tourist" stove is a modification of the standard "Poshekhonka" stove. The stove features an internal baffle plate, which performs important functions: increases the path of burning gases within the stove, promoting complete combustion and better heat transfer functions as a spark arrestor increases the heat output of the stove's cooking surface. The stove body is octagonal. The chamfered corners make the stove easier to transport, and the additional edges increase structural rigidity. To maintain the firebox space, we increased the stove's height. The space above the baffle plate is needed for afterburning gases. Please note: The design has changed: 1. The flue pipe has been moved to the rear of the stove (as on all Poshekhonka models). 2. The location and size of the baffle plate (spark arrestor) inside the stove have been changed. Reasons for the changes: 1. The front location of the baffle plate is less convenient to use, as the flue pipe takes up more space inside the tent and also interferes with cooking on the stove. 2. The spark arrestor plate inside the stove has been shortened. During operation and testing, the baffle plate has been found to have a negative impact on the stove's draft and performance. Due to the complicated gas flow inside the stove, draft is impaired, combustion control is impaired, and operation in long-burning modes is impaired. To minimize these effects, we reduced the size of the baffle plate and simplified the gas flow inside the stove. 3. To increase rigidity and durability, the bodies of the "Tourist" 25L and 30L stoves are made of AISI 304 stainless steel (high-alloy, NON-MAGNETIC) with a thickness of 0.6 mm.
