Marlo Thomas, 2023 Lifetime Achievement Award Recipient, Acceptance Speech

The 2023 Lifetime Achievement Award was presented to Marlo Thomas to celebrate the tremendous impact she has had on the entertainment industry and American culture. The award ceremony was held May 23, 2023 at the Beverly Wilshire, A Four Seasons Hotel, in Beverly Hills, California. The Annual Gracie Awards are presented by the Alliance for Women in Media Foundation (formerly known as The Foundation of American Women in Radio & Television). The AWMF supports and promotes educational programs, and scholarships to benefit the media, the public, and allied fields. The Alliance for Women in Media Foundation has created partnerships and joint initiatives with many organizations that are philosophically aligned with the mission of the Foundation. In addition to giving $20,000 a year in scholarships to deserving female students, the Foundation also produces nationally acclaimed recognition programs, including the Gracie Awards that exemplary honor programming created by, for and about women.
