Lone Wolf Scouting Fatwood Adventures (Episode 45) Fatwood Harvest+Burn+Rescued Eastern box turtle

Welcome back to the Outdoor Wilderness Wildlife Adventures, and this is the (Lone-Wolf) Scouting Fatwood Adventures video series. During my Hiking Fatwood adventures, I came across a turtle in need of help and brought the turtle back to the pond, and thinking to myself of how did this poor little turtle stray so far from the pond. I feel the turtle would have died without my help because of the distance from the lake and pond. It was truly an honor to save one of God's lovely creatures. It's not all about scouting fatwood but enjoying and cherishing every moment while being out in the wilderness, enjoying the trees, the fresh air, and the diversity of wildlife all around, and thanking God to be part of it all. People can learn a great deal from taking a simple hike in the woods. In this episode, I went back to a patch of woods I previously visited a year ago but didn't venture very far due to the extreme heat on that summer day. As I ventured deeper into this old-growth forest I was completely amazed at finding so many dead trees that were completely rotted down to the core. This time I walked deeper into the woods, and didn't see much of any dead pine trees that had any Fatwood in them, and began thinking about heading back from where I originally started but not after coming upon a small dead pine tree. That was such a relief to find anything at that point. To conclude, this was another magical scouting Fatwood experience, having the honor to rescued a small turtle. There is so much one can learn simply by taking a walk in the woods.
