Mercury V10 400s on a Contender 39ST - Insane Torque!!!!!!

Mercury has really, REALLY been upping their game when it comes to high horsepower outboard motors in the past few years. One of their newest and most enthusiastically received motors is the naturally aspirated, V10 Mercury 400. My friend George decided to repower his 39 foot Contender stepped hull with 3 of these bad boys when one of his prior engines (a V8 Yamaha F350) blew a powerhead earlier this year. He just got the boat back and this video chronicles George's first full speed trial run with them. Engines are still being broken in and the boat is probably slightly over-propped but the performance, especially the insane torque was amazing!
