After visiting the Mundo Maya Edzná Hotel, I decided to travel almost 8 hours on the Maya Train from Mérida to Palenque to find out if this hotel is truly worth it. In this video, I show you the entire journey from the Mérida Teya station, the arrival at the Palenque station, the hotel's included transportation, the Deluxe King room, the pool, the gym, the common areas, the project's architecture, and its impressive integration with the Chiapas jungle. We also visited the incredible Palenque Archaeological Zone, one of the most important Mayan cities in Mexico. As an architect, I also share my opinion on the hotel's design, the use of the topography, and the building's integration with its natural surroundings. Is this the best hotel on the Maya Train?
