Shinyalu

During the commissioning of newly constructed classrooms by Bungoma Governor Kenneth Lusaka and Shinyalu Member of Parliament Fred Ikana in Shinyalu Constituency, Kakamega County, I strongly condemned the increasing cases of defilement involving school-going children in the Western region and across the country. It is deeply disturbing that underage learners are being subjected to such heinous acts, with some tragically losing their lives. I called upon the relevant authorities, including the National Police Service and other investigative agencies, to act swiftly and ensure that those responsible are arrested and brought to justice. We must protect our children and guarantee their safety both in school and within our communities. The safety and well-being of our children must remain a national priority, and all stakeholders must work together to end these crimes and safeguard the future of our young generation.
