#鬼瓦 #largest #temple #世界ギネス記録 #世界一 #世界最大 世界最大の鬼瓦、平瓦、丸瓦製作 念佛宗無量壽寺総本山 佛教之王堂 本堂 日本一平瓦 本堂屋根葺工事について（井野瓦工業株式会社） 　本堂の瓦は、すべて新たに金型を つくったり、 全く手造りであります。 例えば本平瓦の金型は、 佛教之王堂 本館棟のものは80kgほどですが、 本 堂のものは900kgもあり金型製作機 械の用意をするなど大変でした。 　また、混練粘土を板状に押し出し ノズル (口金) の製作、 プレス機の 改造にも苦労がありました。大きい 上に出来るだけ軽量にしなければば らず試行錯誤がつづきました。 　素地の乾燥にも苦労があり、通常 品は48時間程で完了するものが、 3 ~ 4 昼夜均一乾燥の為、覆いをあてたり、除けたり、また瓦を上下に何 度も換え、いわゆる手かえしをする自然乾燥をしたのち、 熱風乾燥室に入れて乾燥完了としました。 　生素地を乾燥すると約5.5%収縮 し、焼成で約6%収縮、 計11.5~ 12%収縮するので不用意にすると 変形したり、キレが発生するので、大きく肉厚なので慎重さを要しました。また、窯での温度の昇温や冷却にも神経を要しました。 　本堂の総屋根面積は約 3,000 坪（9,900㎡）で本堂瓦総枚数は 134,000枚にのぼります。 葺土が多い日には80名が葺工事に従事しました。 本堂 高さは18 階建ビルに相当する51.5m 。 上段は日本史上初の六手先総詰組様式、下段は四手先総詰組様式。上層部に扇垂木を用いる。 軒下最上層部の周囲には、手先詰組の間に、釈迩如来像八十体が四方へ向かって遍く衆生済度を勧められ、その下層部には八十八体の龍、墓股には、表に龍、内に等身大の飛天それぞれ百四体、また、本堂全体で十万枚を超える金色に輝く飾り金具が、荘麗なる浄土の世界を厳飾する仏教建築。 屋根上に、124,000枚の瓦を敷く。 各平瓦は世界最大の幅1.7尺、奥行1.9尺　その瓦の波の頭上に聳える鬼瓦は、鬼師・梶川亮治氏制作、三階建ビルに匹敵する高さを誇る。鬼の憤怒の形相が衆生の心中に潜む慎悩を払って、清浄無垢な心を顕現させる。 概略 阿弥陀堂　高さ51.5ｍ（基壇、棟飾り込）、桁行（幅）67.9ｍ、梁間（奥行）58.2ｍ 天井までの高さ約32m（11階建ての建物が入る）、天井大彫刻は48畳 破風　一辺25m、合計50m 平瓦　幅1.7尺、奥行1.9尺（世界最大）　十二万四千枚 畳数　888枚 欄間彫刻　堂内488点 柱など堂内は拭き漆仕上げ 鬼瓦〜世界最大の鬼瓦 Onigawara The Guinness World Records（平成19年2月28日公式認証） ギネス世界記録認定　本堂　鬼瓦 height:9m;Width:8.8m（名神高速道路天王山トンネルの高さの二倍ある） 高さ　幅8.8m （先端部経之巻の直径91cm） 阿吽の対になっている 鬼師・梶川亮治氏制作 井野瓦工業株式会社 Looking up at the onigawara and the Stone Lantern, the two “No.1"s in the world As many as 124,000 of the biggest roof tiles in the world are used, with each ti1e measuring 51.5cm in width and 57.6cm in length. The onigawaras，demon-faced ridge-end tiles, rising on the waves of roof ti1es, were made by Master Ryoji Kajikawa. Each of the tiles has the height of a 3-story building. The infuriated face of demon he1ps sentient beings to sweep away their desires and bring about pure and innocent minds. In front of the Main Hall, the large Stone Lanterns stand high on both sides.
