Casio Computer Co., Ltd. will release the GM-S5600XG/GMA-S110XG, a collaboration model with the globally active seven-member HIPHOP/R&B group "XG," as a new product in its shock-resistant watch "G-SHOCK" series on June 12, 2026! "XG" is a HIPHOP/R&B group consisting of seven members: JURIN, CHISA, HINATA, HARVEY, JURIA, MAYA, and COCONA. Having established a new musical genre called "X-POP" and carving out their own unique style, "XG" resonates with "G-SHOCK," which has established itself as a unique brand with its shock resistance and unique design. Therefore, a global ambassador contract was signed in July 2025. The GM-S5600XG/GMA-S110XG announced here is the first collaboration model with "XG." The "XG" worldview has been incorporated into the designs of two different watches. These special edition watches feature the XG aesthetic in two distinct designs. Every detail has been carefully considered, resulting in models that fuse the edgy style characteristic of XG with the toughness unique to G-SHOCK. The concept of the new visuals is the "sense of speed" and "active dynamism" shared by XG and G-SHOCK. This energy is expressed through the theme of "transcending time and space." The visuals depict a fusion of XG's luminous presence and G-SHOCK's robust spirit, portraying a vision of pioneering a new era and continuously challenging the future. In interviews following the photoshoot, each member spoke about the appeal of the collaboration models and their own "things they want to overcome now." Regarding the finished model, COCONA commented, "It has a vivid pink feel, with various shades of pink mixed in the details, and metallic parts. It's impactful, yet it harmonizes well with any outfit, which is very XG-like." JURIN smiled and said, "There are so many things I love about it, like the rainbow inside. I'm really looking forward to seeing the ideas we all came up with take shape and reach ALPHAZ and so many other people." Regarding how to combine it with fashion, CHISA said, "It would look great as an accent color in an all-black outfit. I want to stand out at concerts and things like that." MAYA appealed to the model's design, saying, "It seems to go well with any fashion style, and the rainbow inside has a subtle sparkle, so I think it will be an 'IF YOU KNOW YOU KNOW' fashion point. I want to combine it with various fashion styles." In keeping with the concept of "transcending time and space," when asked about their future goals, JURIA said, "I want to surpass my current self and evolve even further, and I want to deliver a definitely evolved version of myself to everyone." HARVEY added, "I believe that the most important thing to overcome any obstacle is to let go of fear, so this year I want to let go of fear even more and continue to surpass my past self." Furthermore, when asked about what they value in maintaining their "unwavering strength," HINATA revealed their beliefs: "Accepting not only my own strengths but also my weaknesses," while JURIN stated, "Always looking forward and continuing to grow and evolve."
