A really important but sometimes overlooked aspect of honeybee husbandry is maintenance and cleanliness of our beesuits. They tend to pick up lots of propolis and honey, wax and dirty, not to mention that they get a little bit sweaty in the warmer months! Time to get them clean and keep them clean, part of good apiary hygiene is ensuring we keep ourselves clean and sterile so as not to possibly transfer germs and diseases to other colonies and apiaries.
