Small Faces - Kenney Jones discusses the re-masters series (Part One)
Following the Small Faces' long overdue induction into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in April 2012, Charly Records and its distribution partner Snapper Music will be rolling out definitive editions of the band's classic recordings for Immediate Records. These new Re-Masters editions are issued with the full blessing and co-operation of the surviving members, Kenney Jones and Ian McLagan, and represent the fruits of five years' work in tracking down and restoring long lost original tapes and presenting them at last in the manner the band deserves, sounding more fresh and dynamic than ever. "This is the Small Faces as they should be heard," says Kenney Jones. "The band lived through explosive times -- and every bit of that intensity found its way onto these records."
