Day 19: Deer Lodge to Butte MT
Cycled from Deer Lodge to Butte MT as part of my Great American Rail Trail based Bicycle tour across the country. Rode a scenic trail out out of Deer Lodge that highlighted a bridge built by convicts for the Old Yellowstone road. Then road ten plus miles of scenic frontage roads. A Strong storm developed as I entered the Anaconda region. I took shelter at the trailhead of the Copperway Regional trail and waited for the storm to go through. Then biked several trails leading to and through Butte.
