Meet Dan Bishop | Bluewater Trip Leader 👋

Meet Dan Bishop, one of Bluewater Travel’s trip leaders and a longtime underwater photographer with more than 30 years of experience behind the camera. 📷 Dan did his first dive at just 14 years old and has spent decades photographing both above and below the surface. Before focusing on underwater photography, he worked as a skydiving photographer and videographer, but it was the ocean that eventually became his biggest creative focus. Today, Dan is known for his wide-angle and macro photography, his calm and practical teaching style, and the way he helps photographers feel more confident with their cameras in the water. On a trip with Dan, you can expect great diving, plenty of time to talk photo techniques, helpful feedback, and someone who genuinely enjoys seeing people come home with images they are proud of.
