Expectation vs reality when we first explored Banua Botanical Garden, Banjarbaru 🌿 Based on what we read online, Banua Botanical Garden is described as a conservation area covering around 100 hectares, home to hundreds of plant species, educational zones, and recreational areas such as a reservoir (embung) and a maze garden. But what’s the reality on the ground? In this video, we take a relaxed walk through Banua Botanical Garden. From the free shuttle bus that turns out to only take visitors to certain points, to the Nature Exhibition with a very affordable entrance fee, and even the moment when we almost reached the maze garden—only to be blocked by the reservoir 😅 Several spots such as the viewing tower, greenhouse, and herbarium are also not accessible yet, either because they are under maintenance or require special access.
