If you don’t use it for a few days, then it won’t properly drain your milk flow. The best way to make use of this pump is to start off pumping one side while you have baby on another so your body can get used to “letting down” with the pump. Then as your body gets used to that, you will beable to pump both sies at the same time when you taketime t pump - make sure you pump everyday to keep your body used to it. This pump is great but it does require a bit of science and upkeep to ensure it works properly but if you are keen for that then you will love it (the fact that it is no spill with the bags is a really nice feature - I love the fact that I can lay down while pumping or do virtually anything without spilling milk)
