Wool bedding vs synthetic bedding in a fire test
The Wool Room lent it's products to this fire test undertaken on the TV show "Kill it, Cut it, Use it". They wanted to show how sheep's wool was very flame retardant naturally. No chemicals or treatments have been applied to any of these products to make them flame retardant. It is amazing that in the UK there is no British Standard that requires your duvet to be flame retardant. The polyester duvet, in comparison, produces terrifying results, think how many house fires could be eliminated if we all used wool carpets, curtains, bedding and furnishings. www.thewoolroom.com
