Windy day canoe landing on Bush Lake, Bloomington, MN

This was only my fourth time out with my Northstar Trillium. I'm a new canoeist, and the wind was stronger than I would have liked. We're having a windy summer so far, however, and I decided to give it a try. I'm tired of sitting at home waiting for ideal conditions. No whitecaps, and I launched into the wind. I figured if it was too much, I'd get blown right back to the beach. This video is the last ten minutes of the trip. I'm trying to learn how wind interacts with water, and what that means when canoeing, so it was a good chance to learn. I landed without getting wet, so I call it a win!
