~Try out this yummy cookie recipe, and please don't forget to subscribe :) ~Thanks for visiting my channel. ~I'm a mom who bakes at night because it's pretty much the only free time I have :) 🍪🍪🍪🍪🍪 Ingredients 230g unsalted butter, cold and cubed 380 Dark brown sugar 2 teaspoons vanilla extract 2 large eggs, cold 490g Bread Flour 20g Cornstarch 1 teaspoon baking soda 2 tsp salt 225g Chocolate Chips ( ½ milk and ½ semisweet) Flaky sea salt, for finishing Instructions Prepare the Oven Preheat oven to 350°F (180°C) or 320°F (160°C) for fan-forced ovens. Butter a sheet pan Cream Butter and Sugar In a large mixing bowl, combine the cold cubed butter and brown sugar. Beat with an electric mixer until the mixture comes together and resembles coarse crumbs. Add the vanilla extract and egg, then mix just until combined. Avoid overmixing. Add Dry Ingredients Add the flour, cornstarch, baking soda, and salt (if using). Mix on low speed until a soft cookie dough forms. Fold in Mix-Ins Stir in the chopped chocolate and walnuts until evenly distributed throughout the dough. Portion the Dough Scoop approximately 80g (about ¼ cup) of dough per cookie. Place on prepared baking sheets, leaving plenty of space between each cookie for spreading. For a rustic bakery-style appearance, loosely shape the dough mounds rather than rolling them smooth. Bake Bake for 12–14 minutes, or until the edges are lightly golden brown while the centers remain slightly soft, rotating the sheet pan halfway through baking. Finish and Cool Remove from the oven and immediately sprinkle with flaky sea salt. Allow cookies to cool completely on the baking sheet before serving. Notes No cornstarch? Replace it with an additional tablespoon of all-purpose flour. Nut substitutions: Pecans or macadamia nuts work beautifully. If omitting nuts altogether, add extra chocolate chunks instead. For extra-thick cookies: Chill the dough for 30–60 minutes before baking. ✨ These cookies have crisp golden edges, soft chewy centers, pools of melted chocolate, and just the right touch of sea salt #bakerystyle #cookiedough #howtomake #chocolatechipcookies #cookierecipes
