Silent Meal Prep Before Our Trip 🌿✨ Clearing The Fridge & Cooking Cozy Recipes | Slow Living Atlanta

Before leaving for our 10-day Chicago trip, I decided to do a little fridge clean-out and prepare some homemade meals using everything we had left 🌿✨ In this silent slow living vlog from Atlanta, USA, I’m sharing a peaceful pre-trip meal prep day where I turn leftover vegetables and ingredients into delicious, comforting recipes. From a simple air fryer carrot fry and homemade mint chutney to a flavorful sheet pan kebab and refreshing chickpea salad, this video is all about mindful cooking, reducing food waste, and enjoying simple homemade meals before traveling. 🥕 Air Fryer Carrot Fry Ingredients: Carrots, salt, black pepper, ginger garlic paste, oil Method: I peeled, washed, and cut the carrots into small pieces. Then I marinated them with salt, pepper, ginger garlic paste, and oil. After mixing everything well, I air fried the carrots for 20 minutes until they were cooked and lightly roasted. A simple and delicious vegetable side dish ready with minimal effort. 🌿 Homemade Mint Chutney Ingredients: Onion, tomato, green chilies, dry red chilies, ginger, garlic, paprika, garlic salt, oil, mint leaves, cilantro Method: I added chopped onion, tomato, green chilies, dry red chilies, ginger, garlic, paprika, garlic salt, and oil into a bowl and mixed everything well. I air fried the mixture for 10 minutes, stirring in between. Then I added fresh mint leaves and cilantro, air fried for another 2 minutes, and allowed it to cool. Finally, I blended everything with water until smooth and stored the homemade mint chutney in the fridge. 🥩 Sheet Pan Kebab Ingredients: Ground beef, onion, bell pepper, green chili, tomato, carrot, ginger, cilantro, garlic paste, turmeric powder, black pepper, chili flakes, garam masala, salt, oil Method: I finely chopped all the leftover vegetables using a food processor. Then I mixed the vegetables with cilantro, garlic paste, and spices. After adding the ground beef, I combined everything well by hand. I spread the mixture evenly on an oiled baking tray, made small sections for easy serving, and baked it at 375°F for 20 minutes. Finally, I broiled it for 5 minutes until the top became golden and slightly crispy. 🥗 Chickpea Salad Ingredients: Chickpeas, cucumber, tomato, onion, yogurt, garlic, lemon juice, garlic salt, black pepper, chili flakes Method: I soaked the chickpeas overnight, rinsed them, and boiled them until soft. Then I chopped cucumber, tomato, and onion and mixed them with the chickpeas. For the dressing, I added yogurt, garlic, lemon juice, garlic salt, pepper, and chili flakes. After mixing everything together, the refreshing chickpea salad was ready to enjoy. This video is a reminder that meal prep doesn’t always need complicated recipes.
