In a world that asks us to speed up, to think about the next exam to take, when to graduate, how to do it in the best way and, above all, better than others, slowness is a real claim. In a world that sees us as machines, slowing down, stopping and reminding ourselves that we are here to exist, before being productive, is an act that I find to be of beautiful strength. And stopping does not necessarily mean stopping studying or working, because perhaps that would be asking too much; by stopping I also mean just sitting down and talking to ourselves for a moment, asking ourselves how we are, but how we really are; and answering ourselves with sincerity.
