In 1999 (I think?), Bill McKaig, a Presbyterian Minister from Scotland, recorded a maximum score of 433 points. He answered 40 out of 40 questions correctly. This was never beaten and is never likely to be, seeing as 15-1 vanished from our screens a few years ago. Don't ask me who the bloke with the pseudo 'Hugh Cornwell' haircut in the middle is though???? (more)
