Agrumes rustiques, haie fruitière, jardin-forêt et pépinière | Natures-Libres

Hi Permapotes, In this video, Luc will tell us about hardy citrus, fruit hedges, his nursery and his forest garden. Luc grows hardy citrus, a particular challenge in the Belgian climate. These citrus, adapted to withstand cold winters, are an excellent example of resilience and adaptation of plants to local conditions. He has managed to select and acclimatize citrus varieties that can thrive even in less sunny regions. We also explored his fruit hedges, a concept that combines aesthetics, productivity and biodiversity. Fruit hedges are composed of a wide variety of edible plants, fruits and vegetables that grow in harmony. Luc also showed us his nursery, a place where he grows and propagates local species to more exotic but equally resilient varieties. This nursery is essential for large-scale planting projects, and Luc generously shares his knowledge with those who wish to create nourishing spaces at home. Finally, we discovered his forest garden. It is designed to offer a diversity of fruits and vegetables throughout the year, while maintaining a high biodiversity. It is a fascinating place where we see how nature can flourish freely.
