Then, Zira sends Buster to spook the antelope Kiara's hunting in order to secretly direct her away from the Pridelands. Angel stops Kiara from following them as ordered by Kiara's father, but the young lioness doesn't listen and continues to run in that direction. Meanwhile, the villains celebrate this victory in their scheme. After running for miles, Kiara thinks about her life and realizes it's dangerous to dream. Off in a nearby jungle, Shere Khan sings about his own life and dreams. Finally, the two are reunited for "evermore!"
