In November 2019, National Electric Vehicle Sweden (NEVS) in the old Saab factory in Trollhättan got the mission to develop a complete BEV, ready for production. Nine months later, it was done! We have interviewed Frank Smit, VP Engineering & Product Development, and Peter Dahl, Program Director, who told us how the ex-Saab engineers at NEVS developed developed a complete car for their Chinese owners, real estate giant Evegrande, in record time. The latter had some quite ambitious plans, to say the least...
