Tonight begins Shadow Gods, our horror-based Daggerheart campaign set in the Age of Umbra. A century after the God-King Othedias betrayed the Pantheon, the Halcyon Domain rots beneath eternal gloom. The gods are gone. The dead do not rest. Every soul is marked by the blight, and the last survivors — the Enduring — cling to Sacred Pyres against the rising dark. In Session 1, our party begins in the swamp-fort village of Okros, where desperate screams echo from beyond the walls after a hunting band vanishes near the newly opened Shalk Chasm. Something in the dark has learned to wear familiar voices. This is a dark fantasy horror campaign focused on survival, corrupted divinity, tragic monsters, and the stubborn little sparks of hope that refuse to die.
