Flying from a volcano. El Misti, Peru. Paragliding in Peru

The freedom to be able to take your "aircraft" pretty much anywhere in the world. *On that day flying through the misty cumulus's clouds had to be done. They were of course not thick and seeing around and through them for most of the time was doable. A compass(on my watch) was used at times to navigate and thus avoiding the possibility of colliding with the slope at higher altitude. I was the only glider in the sky there so no risk from collision. Days before that, members of the local tour agency from which I borrowed the damaged sleeping back and the unused tent confirmed for me that in general there is no air traffic around the volcano. "No air traffic" was also prompted by the soldiers i met on top. So there was nothing to fear during the brief moments when visibility was brought to low. Despite of all. DON'T ENTER CLOUDS deliberately due to the risk of getting disoriented, loosing control or even being hit by another aircraft. Inside a cloud the "fun" is only in the first 5 seconds....then it is all fear!!!
