TEAC CX-210 2-Head Stereo Cassette Deck Japan 1979
This deck was a big surprise. After restoration I made a recording test that you can see in this video. Both the playback and the recording features were way above the my expectations. Very smooth and stabile playback, super recording sound with a Fuji tape. This is a proof for simple technical solutions always win. A cool looking and sounding tape deck from 1979. TEAC built very good cassette decks in the late 70s. Detailed sounding heads that produce crisp high frequency response. The transport was solid as the rest of the unit. These decks are very reliable performers that last decades after serviced. On this unit me managed to get the wow and flutter down to %0.06. That’s outstanding! The device has all the original parts, playback and recording tested. Heads cleaned, levels, meters adjusted as per specifications. Shipping details in the Gary Audio web shop.
