Hannah Gutierrez-Reed, the young armorer serving an 18-month prison sentence for the death of cinematographer Halyna Hutchins, will ask the judge to throw out her case based on discovery violations. The new motion comes after a judge dismissed the case against actor Alec Baldwin after prosecutors failed to turn over ballistic evidence that could have helped Baldwin with his defense. Gutierrez-Reed had already asked to be released citing another discovery violation.
