Barcelona’s Hidden Gem 360° Views at Bunkers del Carmel + Museu d’Espanya Tour
Join me — a student from Finland — as I visit Bunkers del Carmel (amazing 360° city views & history) and Museu d’Espanya (art & culture) in Barcelona! 🇪🇸🇫🇮 Great spots, free entry, and unforgettable vibes. Bunkers del Carmel (Turó de la Rovira) Bunkers del Carmel is a historic viewpoint and former anti-aircraft battery sitting 262 m high on Turó de la Rovira hill in Barcelona’s El Carmel district. Built in 1937–1938 during the Spanish Civil War, it defended the city from bombings; today it offers the best free 360° panoramic views of Barcelona, including Sagrada Família, the sea, and Montjuïc. Museo de España / Poble Espanyol (Montjuïc, Barcelona) Poble Espanyol is an open-air architectural museum & cultural complex on Montjuïc Hill, created for the 1929 Barcelona International Exposition. It brings together 117 life-sized replicas of traditional buildings, streets, and squares from all 17 regions of Spain — Andalusia, Castile, Basque Country, Galicia, Catalonia, and more — in one 40,000 m² site. It’s equal parts history, architecture, craft, and art.
