Das Leben in Hongkongs Sargwohnungen (Nur 1,5 Quadratmeter)

Hong Kong's coffin apartments are the smallest apartments in the world. These apartments can be as small as 16 square feet, or 1.5 square meters. Inside these cubicles, it's impossible to stand up or even stretch your arms. Most coffin apartments aren't even wider than the resident's shoulders or longer than their torso. And yet, they serve as living rooms, kitchens, and bedrooms—all in the same space. Around 200,000 people have no choice but to live in these apartments in Hong Kong, which has had the world's most expensive housing market for the past 14 years.
