This is an essential procedure to ensure your motorcycle's engine continues to run efficiently and safely. Let's get started! Materials Needed: Radiator Cleaner . Coolant, preferably Motul Motocool . Demineralized Water . Tools (wrench, screwdriver, and Allen wrench) . Container for collecting the used coolant . Funnel Step by Step: Preparation: Start by parking the motorcycle on a flat surface and turn off the engine. Wait for the engine to cool completely before beginning the process. Avoid contact with the coolant. Locate the Radiator and Expansion Tank: Draining the Coolant: Place a container under the radiator to collect the old coolant. Loosen the drain screw and open the radiator cap to relieve pressure. Allow the coolant to drain completely into the container. System Cleaning: With the old coolant drained, it's a good idea to clean the system. You can do this by filling the radiator with radiator cleaner diluted with demineralized water at a ratio of 30 ml of radiator cleaner to 1 liter of demineralized water. Run the engine for about 15 minutes, allowing the water to circulate. Turn off the engine and drain the water in the same way as the old coolant. Repeat the process until the water runs clear. Filling with New Coolant: With the system cleaned and drained, it's now time to add the new coolant. Use a funnel to avoid spills and fill the radiator to the recommended level. Also fill the expansion tank to the maximum level. System Bubbles: After adding the new coolant, you need to run the engine to remove air bubbles. Check the coolant level and add more if necessary. Turn off the engine and let it cool before checking again and adjusting the level if necessary. Final Check: Check for leaks around the connections and hoses.
